Musa Masala’s End-of-Summer Update: What’s New!
Here we go, 2025 up to July. We will make it quick!
What Musa was up to during the first half of 2025
1. Musa Masala sponsors Nepali climbers to compete in India!
Here’s the story as told by the climbers themselves. Your donations allowed for this new and exciting chance for the top climbers to compete outside of Nepal.
2. A new wallet-size Altitude Tips Card, created in cooperation with the Himalayan Rescue Association, ready for the spring climbing/trekking season.
3. Musa Masala, along with Wongchhu Peak Promotion, sponsored the National Sport Climbing Championships in Kathmandu, Nepal. The first nationwide championships since 2018!
4. The fourth Musa Masala Dental Camp was held at the Wongchhu Sherpa Memorial Hospital June 9-12 With six dentists this year we exceeded our patient contacts, over 700 procedures done!! We also had three schools in addition to the schools we had attend in the past years. This community interaction and trust in our program is everything. We are reaching more people and enhancing the health of the lower Khumbu Valley. Here is a clip from our Instagram. A full report to come.
